Say a little prayer!

We have spoke to our agency, don't get me wrong they have been wonderful. But, at first we thought it would be 4-6 weeks until we pick Josie up.Now they are saying 8 weeks! We need this baby girl home, not just for us but for that sweet baby. She doesn't need to laying around in a crib all day and night. She needs to be loved, held, rocked, kissed and spoiled! And she needs to meet her big brothers!
We want her home before Easter! She spent Christmas all alone.
So,let's all pray and pray hard God will have this baby home before Easter! I know it's in God's time and everything will work out! I just can't help that I have fallen in love with her, and we want her home!

Kisses in the Wind!

I hold you in my heart and touch you in my dreams.
You are here each day with me, at least that's how it seems.
I know you wonder where we are... what's taking us so long.
But remember child, I love you so and God will keep you strong.
Now go outside and feel the breeze and let it touch your skin...
Because tonight, just as always, I blow you kisses in the wind.
May God hold you in His hand until I can be with you.
I promise you, my darling, I'm doing all that I can do.
Very soon, you'll have a family for real, not just pretend.
But for tonight, just as always, I blow you kisses in the wind.
May God wrap you in His arms and hold you very tight.
And let the angels bring the kisses that I send to you each night.

The waiting begins...

I sure hope this 4-6 weeks doesn't take long...I don't think I can shop anymore! :) j/k

I finally went back to work on Tuesday, boy that flight has taken a toll on me. I still have my nights and days mixed up. Our next trip I think we are going to stay at the Silk Road Hotel, if you read my blogs while we were in Kyrgyzstan, I didn't like the Asia Mountain very much...the last day there we found out there was a Strip club next door, the service was so so, the Internet was horrible, the food was cold and I just didn't feel comfortable there. So, the Silk Road Hotel is suppose to be much nicer. So, if you have stayed there let us know. Also, we are trying to search for flights, that do not have very many stops. So, if you can help, let us know...
I wanted to say thanks to all the "adoptive bloggers" whether you left a nice comment or
helped us out in anyway! Thanks..
And I thought I would share another picture of Josie..This is the famous bottle I spoke about while in Kyrgyzstan. I love those eyes.

Everyone thinks she is a doll...

Saturday we had family over to see the pictures and to watch the video.
Everyone thought she was a keeper! I was talking and telling everyone about
her having the number 7 on all her clothes, bibs ect. And Danny's uncle Bob
said that's a good number. I said really why..he said 7 is God's number.
God rested on the 7th day, 7th means complete...WOW, if that didn't hit
home. God has been with us very step of the way. He shows us little signs from
time to time, we just have to stop, look and listen.

So, what do you all think...is she a keeper??

Home at last! 1-18-08

We went through 5 different countries...and of course we get to the United States and they lose our luggage in Chicago. We had to wait until 3 in the morning to get our luggage, they put it on the wrong flight. So, we found a very nice hotel in Louisville. We finally made it home Friday at 4pm. Long trip but it was worth it..just to meet Josie. It was hard leaving the boys at home with Grandma and Aunt D. I knew they would be taken good care of. Then the hardest part was leaving that sweet baby over there. She just melted our hearts. The first day was great, but the second day I fell in love. I was holding her and she let a big sigh of relief and I could feel her heart beat next to mine..that was it for me... I think she had Danny at hello :)
The last day I was checking our myspace site. When Steven Curtis Chapman song came on "when love takes you in" I hadn't cried until I heart that sound, it really hit home and hard!
You will have to go back into my blog archives and watch the video...

And we are heading home!

It's 3:30am here on Thursday morning. We are heading to the airport in an hour.
I hope and pray our trip home is a safe and FAST.
We have plenty of pictures to share with everyone!!!

I can't wait for some comfort food!!!!!! So, mom if you are reading this when is it ready?

Our third visit...

Our third and last visit with Josie went by to fast. She is such a content baby. She is very laid back. We got to feed her again today, she wasn't very hungry, I think she is getting a cold. I tried to give her a little massage through her clothes today, she really loved it. I stretched her legs, arms and she would just lay and look at me. She became very relaxed. I didn't want to leave her, it's one of the hardest things I have done. Only thing getting me through this is knowing I have two wonderful boys waiting for me at home..I can't wait to bring her home so she can meet her big brothers!
