Last week was such a trying week, not with adoption but personally. Sometimes in life you wonder why things happen the way it does. We needed to help a family member out, And knowing that we would be using a little of the money to bring Josie home..or to finalize the adoption. Family members didn't want us to help. But I told them God has gotten us this far, he has laid this on our hearts...God will not let us down.
That evening I get a call that a friend wanted to drop off a card at my office. I was on my way to drop off Johnny at practice. So, I went by the office to pick up the card..Words can not express the feeling I felt when I read that card! This is what it said...
"A few months ago I sent out an email to those on my email list and requested they save their pop cans for me. I explained that the money I obtained from recycling them would go toward the expenses of someone else who was trying to adopt or toward orphan relief in general. I have enclosed money received from this recycling project. I know it's not much but I also know God can take it and multiply it. May God Bless you and your family. You are in our prayers "Yours in Christ" A,R,J (and all those who brought me their cans)"
I didn't want to post their names..God knows who you are...Thank you!!!
After reading that God spoke to me.."I will provide, trust in me" So, with that we have emailed everyone on our email list to ask them to save their pop cans...We will use 1/2 of the money raised to take medicine, clothes and much needed items to the orphange that Josie is located..So, if you feel the need to save those cans..please do. Let me know and we can come and pick them up! God is amazing!

Embassy
Well, to start of yes I'm impatient...So, as of today we still had not heard where our dossier/documents are!! I took it upon myself to call the Embassy I didn't know whether they would talk to me or not..But they did, and was very nice. They asked me to spell my last name, and the name of our courier. She then proceeded to put me on hold, for about 10 seconds. She then came back on the line and informed me it would be released on March 6Th, 2008. The embassy is now taking 30 days to process dossier...So isn't it amazing a total of 20 seconds I knew where our paper work is..And I have been asking our agency over 3 weeks where our dossier it??? Our agency is co-brokering with another agency..So, I don't blame our advocate..
So, we hope to go to court the week of March 10..Say a little prayer for us!!

A better day!
We got a phone call today from our advocate, she had some pictures for us!! And we needed that so much. She has grown some, not much. That beautiful hair is getting thin, and the back is almost gone where she has been laying so much. Those big brown eyes just melt your heart!
We are hoping to go to court next week and then the 30 day waiting starts.. So, keep us in your prayers...

Just waiting
Well we are just waiting...No news on the adoption.
We are keeping busy with the boys. They are still playing basketball.
Real Estate has started to pick up. Hoping to write a contract tomorrow...
And that would help with the adoption fund..We are working on coming up
with about $17,000 plus our travel expenses. We have prayed that God will
give us a way to come up with money..And I know he will..
So, does anyone need to buy a home?? Or know anybody that wants to buy or sell?
I give nice gift certicates for referrals...
